<p>If you're looking for a stable Category C mountain boot with insulating lining for your challenging tours at cool heights, the Scarpa Manta Tech GTX is the boot for you, although its name might be more associated with the South Seas.</p><p>Under the tough 3mm Perwanger® leather, the Gore-Tex® Duratherm lining keeps your feet dry and warm. Its high shaft gives you plenty of freedom of movement for intuitive steps in difficult terrain despite sufficient support thanks to good flexibility in the kink zone. Where necessary, the upper material, the long climbing lacing, and the strong sole structure give you a lot of support, especially for climbing, when standing on the tip of the foot, and with semi-automatic crampons on snow and ice.</p><p>A highlight of the Manta Tech GTX is, besides the outstanding Vibram® Pentax Precision XT alpine sole, its two-zone lacing, whose eyelets in the lower part are equipped with especially low-friction inserts for ease of movement.</p>
