<p>The Scratch from Salewa is a compact avalanche shovel that scores top points with its low weight, thanks to tempered aluminum construction. The blade itself has a sharp edge that also cuts through heavily compressed snow. Parallel cut edges prevent further compaction of the snow and save on your energy resources. With the blade's cut-outs, it is also possible to use the shovel as a snow anchor. An extendable shaft ensures ergonomic shovelling while the blade has a horizontal tread zone, which allows a force-saving foot insert also saving on energy when digging.<br></p>
