Description

Climbers from Stuttgart prefer the crags on the Swabian Alb, those from Ulm or Augsburg those on the Swabian Alb. In the valleys whose rivers flow towards the Danube, where our ancestors found ideal living conditions even in the Stone Age (aha!). At the heart of the climbing guide is the Blautal, where 30 climbing crags can be found around the idyllic little town of Blaubeuren. With magnificent ideal limestone and correspondingly great routes, up to a solid 10th grade. The other two areas included in the climbing guide are more comfy: The Eselsburger Tal, an enchanting miniature version of the Blautal, and the Große Lautertal, the most scenic dry valley in the Swabian Alb, with only a few climbing crags but the most striking and pointed peak in the Alb.

The guidebook comes with a download code for a free app for iOS and Android. This will furthermore give you all the Stone Age topos as an app for your smartphone free of charge. The topos are currently being prepared for the app, so please be patient. If you have any questions about the Stone Age climbing app, please contact the Vertical-Life team directly.
