<p>Panico launched the "Best of Ski Tours" series last year with an innovative concept. The highlights of the ski guides are supplemented with a few insider tips and "remixed" together with elaborate illustrations and detailed map sketches. As a special feature, Panico has included a weatherproof and tear-resistant map insert of all tour suggestions in the plastic cover at a scale of 1:50,000. This means you can set off with the book immediately without having to purchase additional maps. This Volume 2 presents the mountains between the Allgäu and Ötztal Alps. The dividing line to volume 1 runs along the Mittenwald - Innsbruck - Brenner axis. The book contains a total of 50 tour suggestions. However, Panico would not be Panico if it were to stop there. That's why a kind of "bonus track" is added to each destination presented: a special tip for ambitious tourers or particularly excellent conditions. This can be a less frequented or more demanding downhill variant, a panoramic circular tour, a particularly striking summit destination or a physical challenge for endurance athletes.
