Description

The Remora HV climbing shoes from Mad Rock are a slightly higher and wider cut version of the classic Remora soft slipper: the same features as the regular Remora, but wider at the front in the High Volume edition.

With strong pretension, a slightly asymmetrical last and only a little downturn, the slipper is really fun in the hall, when bouldering or in the climbing garden. Because the shoe has no midsole, it is beautifully sensitive.

The synthetic upper material is comfortable to wear and offers enough support for the foot. Thanks to the attached power patch on the top of the toe box, the Remora creates support for toe hooks, and the soft midsole makes the shoe precise and sensitive.

Mad Rock has worked hard on the rubber compound over the past few years: the Science Friction 3.0 Rubber in 4.2 mm thickness is particularly durable and sticky, so you'll find good grip even on greasy steps. The special R2 Science Friction edge rubber counteracts chafing, i.e. the detachment of the sole from the upper material.

All in all, the Remora HV is great for anyone looking for a not-too-ambitious slip-on that can be put on and taken off quickly during training and still offers a good fit and performance.
