<p>With the Starling Protect Pro Dry 8.2 Half Rope, Edelrid has further developed the classic Starling half rope: thanks to the Protect technology, it now has a significantly higher cut resistance. This is achieved through aramid, which is processed in the sheath without affecting the dynamic properties of the rope. This significantly improves the cut resistance of the rope - a real plus in terms of safety for alpine terrain, where the rope sometimes runs over edges.</p><p>Thanks to the Pro Dry finish, the Starling Protect Pro Dry is permanently water and dirt repellent, while the Thermo Shield treatment guarantees high suppleness and a long service life. The 3D Lapcoiling technology allows the rope to be simply pulled out of the packaging and used - no more uncoiling required.</p>
