<p>The Deploy avalanche shovel from Black Diamond is a robust avalanche shovel with a slightly curved handle that simply slides down into the shovel blade for transport. When you need the shovel, the handle locks into place with a flick of the wrist. So the shovel is quickly ready for use and easy to transport.</p><p>The generous shovel blade has a volume of 1.14 litres, so you can move a good amount of snow. However, because the shaft is not as long due to the space-saving construction, you have to make concessions in terms of shovel ergonomics - but you get a lightweight shovel with great pack size.</p>
