This innovative accessory has been specially developed for the Y MountainLine 40 Daypack styles and integrates the world's first active air supply system for avalanche victims.</p> <p data-start="517" data-end="1044">At its heart is the Safeback SBX system: it uses the oxygen present in the snowpack to supply buried victims with breathing air. Fresh air is continuously filtered out of the snow via a suction system in the backpack and fed into the shoulder straps via hoses. A simple pull on the T-shaped handle activates the system, which supplies you with vital breathing air for up to 90 minutes.</p> <p data-start="1046" data-end="1356">The technology is designed for extreme conditions: Six lithium AA batteries guarantee reliable performance. The powerful air intake system ensures an optimal oxygen supply and effectively directs exhaled CO₂ away from the face.
