Description

This "different" tour book for the Chiemgau Alps lets you discover a multitude of new trails. All routes have been ridden by the author and no trails that are already closed have been ridden. The extensive illustrations created by the author in combination with the detailed route description give the user an optimal basis for getting in the mood for the selected route. Plenty of tips on unusual rest stops and summit ascents round off each tour.

All routes in this volume about the Chiemgau Alps are kitted out with a quick overview of difficulty, trail fun, fitness, riding performance and altitude. An additional brief description provides information about the nature of the ground on each section of the route. The routes have been compiled without using the main roads and, depending on the rider's ability, contain hardly any stretches of road!

All information is also stored on a CD for printing out and can therefore be used "fresh" again and again. This means that the user always has the necessary information (elevation profile, map section, road book) with them. The A4 sheet is designed so that the user always has the roadbook in a C6 plastic cover on the front and back of the cover. This eliminates the need to turn pages! The clearly structured roadbook is also not overloaded with unnecessary information. In addition, all routes are stored as GPS tracks in all common formats. A user manual provides additional information on the use of GPS data!
