<p>The Pirum GI aluminum screw-on carabiner from AustriAlpin takes its name from the Latin Pirum, which means pear. The carabiner has exactly this shape.&nbsp;</p><p>However, it is not a classic HMS Carabiner, because apart from the breaking strength values, it offers a larger size and snap opening and comes with a brass screw gate, which is particularly smooth-running and corrosion-resistant. This makes it ideal for wet environments. As a special extra, it also has a red color marking which indicates whether the carabiner is closed or not.</p><p>Especially interesting for intensive users: the individual identification number with which each carabiner is provided.
